On Wednesday, 20th of September 2012 concert of two legendary rock groups in Križanke venue in Ljubljana (Slovenia) will be held: Nazareth and Wishbone Ash.
Nazareth are old Scot rock legends from Dunfermline. They have issued twenty-two music albums in their carrier; breakthrough was the »Hair Of The Dog« in 1975 with unforgettable ballade Love Hurts, adaptation of The Everly Brothers song that ensured their eternal position in the league of the most important rock performers of all times.
New European tour of the Nazareth group is a promotion of their new album, called “Big Dogz“. Nevertheless, in upcoming Ljubljana concert we expect to hear plenty of their old best hits such as Love Hurts, Hair of the Dog, Broken Down Angel, Razamanaz and My White Bicycle as well.
Wishbone Ash is definitely one of those groups that cannot be simply classified in a single genre box. We are talking about the group who thoroughly investigated every possible aspect of early British rock. The easiest solution would be to characterize them as the ‘art rock’ group and to put them in the same drawer with a few other original characters that simply does not belong anywhere else. Again, their latest album ‘Elegant Stealth’ proves exactly this assertion.
We expect that we shall have pleasure to hear their best songs in upcoming Ljubljana concert, such as The King Will Come, Warrior, Open Road, The Pilgrim, Living Proof, Phoenix, and Blowin’ Free.
